Sharing issue in windows 7

If you are unable to ping or sharing files from system running Windows 7. Kindly follow these steps:

1. Go to start --> RUN 
2. Type regedit and press enter.

New window will appear

1. Select edit -->Find (Ctrl+F).
2. Browse to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Lsa
3. Create a new DWORD value with the following properties: 

• NAME: LmCompatibilityLevel
• VALUE: 1

4. Restart your PC and try the connection again...
